Overview
Project Challenge
SM Sazzad Ul Islam is a person who shows how much one person can help others. He grew up in Bangladesh and always wanted to make the world a better place. His journey started when he was in high school, and he realized how much he loved helping people.
Research
During the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sazzad did something really special. He worked with groups like "One Taka Ahar" to give food to over 10,000 street children who needed help. This act of kindness gave many kids hope when things were hard.
Approach
While studying agriculture at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Sazzad didn’t stop helping others. He started two organizations: "Waste2Hope" to deal with Global Waste management problems and "KSF Agro Farm" to teach people about farming in a way that protects our planet. He also created "Hopes of Humanity Centre," a global project to help people deal with climate change and other big issues.
Solutions
Sazzad’s amazing work got him a chance to visit the United States through a special program called "Study of the U.S. Institute of Global Student Leaders on Climate Change and the Environment." During his visit, he learned a lot about climate change and leadership while working on community projects in places like Nevada, Colorado, and Lake Tahoe. He also met the Paiute Tribe, learning about their ways of taking care of the environment. When Sazzad returned to Bangladesh, he used what he learned to get support for his "Hopes of Humanity Centre" project. He inspired many people to join him in making a difference and continues to guide young people who want to help others. Sazzad’s story shows that with passion and hard work, anyone can make a big impact. His dedication to helping his community and solving global problems makes him a true hero. His work will continue to inspire and create positive change for many years to come.
