Project Challenge

Sazzad’s passion for service ignited during his high school years. He started with small initiatives, but his big break came during the COVID-19 pandemic. Faced with the challenges of the crisis, Sazzad stepped up to make a difference. Working with organizations like "One Taka Ahar," he helped feed over 10,000 street children, providing them with hope and essential nourishment during tough times.

Research

While studying agriculture at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Sazzad’s commitment to change only grew stronger. He founded non-profit organizations like "Waste2Hope" to tackle waste management issues and "KSF Agro Farm" to promote sustainable farming and climate resilience. His dedication to youth empowerment led him to create the "Hopes of Humanity Centre," a global initiative focused on climate change and environmental protection.

Approach

Sazzad's impressive work earned him a place in the U.S. exchange program "Study of the U.S. Institute of Global Student Leaders on Climate Change and the Environment." During his six weeks in the United States, he engaged in leadership training and community projects across cities like Nevada and Colorado and the stunning Lake Tahoe. He even had the opportunity to learn from the Paiute Tribe, gaining valuable insights into their environmental practices and traditions.

Solutions

Returning to Bangladesh, Sazzad’s drive and vision continued to flourish. He secured funding from BYLC and other international supporters for his "Hopes of Humanity Centre" project. His inspiring work has motivated many others to join his cause, and he remains a guiding force for young people eager to make a difference. Sazzad’s journey is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. His unwavering commitment to his community and the planet serves as a shining example of how one person can create lasting change. As he continues to build a more sustainable and just world, Sazzad’s legacy promises to inspire future generations.
